everyone knows that the political atmosphere in Nigeria, most especially Lagos state which is reputed to be the commercial hub of the country. The primary election of the All Progressive Part (APC) was heldeacefully last week and Akinwunmi Ambode, a former accountant general of the state emerged as the party's flagbearer for the forthcoming election. in fact, his runner up, Obafemi Hamzat was reported to have sent a congratulatory message to him. But feelers reaching dskyline that the congress of the PDP is presently taking a contrary turn as gun men were alleged to have stormed the primary election centre in Alausa to distrupt things.

The two major candidates for the ticket, Jimi Agbaje and Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro have refused to step down for one another, but many political watchers know that Obanikoro is a hard man. He was the immediate minister of state for defence and definitely has the back up of President Goodluck Jonathan because he has always been a loyal servant during his reign compared to Jimi Agbaje who is a fresh fish in the ocean of PDP politics. However, Lagosians and close watchers of Nigerian politics are awaiting the outcome of the result and who will eventually be the winner of the sole ticket of PDP during the 2015 elections in Lagos. we shall keep you updated as events unfold.
